Overheard while she was strumming the guitar this morning:

She plays the guitar? She i8s officially cool in the dilerious handbook.
PARENTAL WARNING: having a blog for your kid is much cooler than a lame photo album or baby book, but potentially MUCH more socially crippling!!

She is immensely cool :)
I love how - even at 4 yrs old - she's using dynamics in her songs. Now I need to start keeping the video camera handy so I can capture them on tape, too :)

She's got a really good sense of how to write a song, doesn't she? She knows that it's all about feelings and connecting the music with your emotions.

She's been making up a lot of songs for me too, mostly while in the car. So many of them talk about sad things and then go back to "but it's OK, we're going to have fun anyway." Hopeful kid. I'm so proud of her.
