Saturday

Katie had fun at the car dealer today - she spent most of the time sitting in a giant SUV. I was talking with a salesman and the lights would be flashing, etc. Many asked if she came with the car but I was pretty firm that she'd be going home with me :) We didn't buy anything today, but we both gave the cute little RAV4 - Red only, please - a big thumbs up.

After dinner and a little finger painting, she decided she didn't want to sleep in bed tonight. She wants to sleep downstairs. So I pulled out one of the recliners, loaded it up with pillows and blankets, and now she's having a great time staying up late, nibbling apple slices and watching some tv.

We may not go out and do crazy stuff, but I like to think we're making other memories that are fun and long-lasting :)
