A couple quick notes

Last night, I heard Katie singing softly to herself and realized she was singing a Keneally song, "Pride is a Sin". Awesome.

A few days ago, she got dressed before coming to my room in the morning. She was in a horizontal-striped shirt (navy and baby blue), a plaid skirt (pink and purple) and cowgirl boots. I took a picture because I knew my mom would LOVE it ;)

I was awakened this morning from a little nap in the recliner with "See mommy, I made a painting for you." My first thought was "oh honey, that is so cute..." then... wait a minute. Did she say PAINTING? ... kind of. Red lipstick. oh so very red lipstick!

That kid - she's hilarious :)
